Hot Hot Hot!

Sorry it has been so long since out last post, it has just been a busy month! We had a great time in Michigan, seeing everyone and enjoying everything that we miss in Michigan! We got to see everyone, including all of the Grandparents, cousins and friends that we have in Michigan! Thanks to everyone for understanding that we have so many people to see and things to do. As usual, there is never enough time to do everything that we want to do when we visit!
This visit was extremely special, because Matt got to visit for 4 days, which he hasn't been able to do since January! We had a great time and Matt got to do a lot of things in a small amount of time.
When it was time to come back to Missouri, Lily and I didn't have a car, so Grandma Johnson drove us back and stayed with us for several days. We had such a great time with her and showing her some of the things that Lily likes to do in St. Louis. We went to the Science Center, the Zoo (sorry about the extreme heat Grandma!), the Rec Center, and one of our Goodwill stores. We had some excitement while Grandma was here too, because Grandma broke a tooth and had to get it fixed and Lily got a touch of Tonsilitis. Lily is better now and Grandma got her tooth fixed. Overall, we had a great time and can't wait to have more visits from family and friends!
Still no news on the job front, Matt is still actively looking for something closer to home, so keep your fingers crossed!
All in all, life is pretty good for us here in Missouri! (although we would like it a little bit cooler!)
